While doctors, nurses and hospice teams provide essential medical care, Florida AngelCare offers an added layer of personalized support focused on the emotional, practical and personal aspects of the journey. Whether through guidance, advocacy, companionship, advance care planning or simply being a calm and trusted presence, every service is tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family.
Florida AngelCare supports clients throughout Palm Beach County, including Lake Worth, Wellington, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and surrounding communities, while also providing virtual guidance and grief support for individuals and families wherever they may be.
Lara's Mission: To bring clarity, comfort and compassionate guidance to individuals and families navigating aging, serious illness, grief and the end of life.
Lara proudly serves as a board member of the Florida End-of-Life Doula Alliance (FEOLDA) and is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and the Death Doula Collective, organizations dedicated to advancing compassionate end-of-life care.
Through her time volunteering with hospice, Lara witnessed the many challenges individuals and families face while navigating aging, serious illness, the end of life and grief. She saw firsthand the incredible care provided by healthcare professionals while also recognizing how valuable it is to have someone who specializes in guiding individuals and families through these moments with knowledge, compassion and steady support, helping them better understand what to expect, make informed decisions, advocate for themselves and the people they love, and feel less alone along the way.
Her calling to this work was also shaped by personal loss. Experiencing firsthand how overwhelming it can be when families don't fully understand the natural dying process deepened her commitment to helping others approach this chapter with greater clarity, compassion and peace.
Those experiences inspired Lara to create Florida AngelCare—a practice built on the belief that every individual deserves to feel seen, heard and supported, and every family deserves someone they can trust to guide them through one of life's most meaningful transitions.
Today, Lara works alongside individuals, families, caregivers and healthcare teams, providing personalized guidance, advocacy, education and compassionate support tailored to each person's unique needs, helping them navigate this chapter with greater clarity, confidence and peace.
Whether planning ahead, supporting a loved one, navigating the end of life or moving through grief, Lara's goal is always the same—to help people feel informed, empowered and never alone.
